Hi All!

Remember the date…16th March 2011.  This is when the men of BTC decided enough is enough. No longer shall we be shown up by the successes of our female counterparts, no longer will the courts be half full on a Wednesday night and no longer shall I allow Kristian to film with his iPhone…….

Our first night with the new format went great. We had 17 men attend the evening, but it wasn’t just the turnout that was pleasing, it was the quality of the tennis that was impressive. My goal with these nights is to create a good buzz around men's tennis. Competitive, full of good banter and great tennis.

It’s not just about the men that play in the teams, but also about those who want to be part of a team and improve. Our first hour on court is spent mixing in, but then when 8 o’clock hits, we split into our teams and I take those looking to improve on to another court where we have a few drill/games to help with your game. 

It’s a positive start to what can be achieved, but we need more of the men, as well as our talented youngsters coming along. Summer will soon be here and we’ll have 6-8 courts available and I want to see these full!
