Beaconsfield Lawn Tennis Club is a friendly club, catering for players of all standards.
Where?
Located at The Oval, Grenfell Road, Beaconsfield, we are always looking for new players to join the club. Whether your a complete beginner or the next Rafa Nadal, why not come along to one of our open club sessions, and see for yourself what the club has to offer.
What kind of club?
A family-friendly feel pervades throughout this medium-sized club. We have the use of 4 floodlit courts for year-round play. We have several open play sessions, where members can simply turn up and play - Thursday evenings from 7-9 with monthly cheese and wine evenings, and Sunday mornings from 10-12. Prospective members are encouraged to come along and join in these sessions, and find out about the club. There are regular Friday morning tournaments followed by lunch in the clubhouse, or a BBQ outside in the summer. This culminates in the popular BLTC Christmas tournament and lunch. The club has a thriving junior/intermediate section, and all club members benefit from discounted coaching rates from Godwin Johnson and his team at BSLT.
For those interested in playing competitive tennis, the club enters around 10 mens, ladies and mixed teams in the county and local leagues throughout the year, with our top teams playing in division 1. Check out the team tennis pages for more details. |
